Located on the Kowloon side of the island, the W Hong Kong is a fun and design-forward property located on top of a vast shopping mall and Kowloon Station. Check in here, and you’ll be able to get everywhere you need to go (including mainland China) with ease and speed, or just stay put and soak up the luxurious and lively atmosphere, dine in style, have a cocktail at any hour and pamper yourself at the Bliss spa. Service is excellent, and there’s little you could want for while you’re here.

Rooms have Nespresso machines, mod cons aplenty, free WiFi and well-stocked minibars. If a harbour view is important, make sure you book carefully. Corner rooms at W hotels are always a sound choice, and if your budget’s unlimited, then by all means go for the Extreme WOW Suite with its skyline view, whirlpool bath overlooking the water and two bathrooms. Other rooms can be interconnected to it if you’re here with a crowd.

On the 76th floor is the heated, outdoor infinity pool, where you can catch some rays on one of the lounge chairs and sip a cool and crafty cocktail from the adjoining WET Deck bar. Come early if you want to swim laps, or otherwise head to the gym one level below. Make time while you’re here to visit the Bliss spa for a treatment. Even if you don’t have a massage or facial, guests can use the sauna, steam rooms, experience showers and vitality pools at no extra cost.
