The interior design scheme avoids austerity with the help of accents of wood and wicker, and subtle artistic touches by some of the estate’s most legendary artists pay homage to the villa’s location. Spa-like bathrooms look like they should be set in a gallery and feature stand-alone marble tubs alongside high-tech amenities.
Multi-Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze is the culinary force behind the must-visit Hélène Darroze À Villa La Coste. A beautiful fine dining restaurant that focuses on Haute French cuisine, this is the place to receive an elevated introduction to the region’s most beloved flavours. For something entirely different, visit the property’s Argentinian restaurant Francis Mallman. A stand-out venue with a welcoming vibe, this buzzy spot is decked out in bold black-and-white and is a tantalising spot for an authentic Argentine meal. Tadao Ando Café is a breezy venue for a late breakfast or an alfresco lunch, and many of the ingredients used in the café’s menu come from the property’s own gardens. La Terrasse is another outdoor option if you find yourself in the mood for traditional Provençal cuisine, while Italian is the cuisine of choice at Vanina Restaurant, where you can find mouthwatering homemade pizza and pasta.
As tends to be the theme throughout the property, the spa facilities at Villa La Coste are top-notch. Seven treatment rooms await to whisk guests away on a journey of rejuvenation, and the treatment menu features organic products that are native to Provence: think olive, apricot and jasmine. Yoga and meditation classes are available upon request, and you can indulge even further with floating beds, saunas and Vichy showers.
