During the week, this cheerful spot is open till 5 PM, but caffeine lovers can get their fix till midnight on weekends. Marsh House restaurant will soothe your soul with its Southern-inspired menu; Seafood is the highlight here, and everything is sustainably sourced and wonderfully fresh. An extensive wine list and fabulous happy hour (hello, oysters) make this a great spot on weekdays, while the bottomless champagne brunch is bound to be the highlight of your weekend. The hotel's indoor-outdoor rooftop bar and restaurant is where the fun really begins in the evening. Called LA Jackson, it’s a popular spot for both guests and locals alike thanks to its killer views, signature frosé and weekend DJ sets.

There’s no pool or spa on-site, but there is a 24-hour fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment and attractive floor-to-ceiling windows. And there’s plenty more to do in the hotel’s immediate surroundings. In fact, The Gulch is largely considered to be one of the city’s most walkable neighbourhoods, and it’s positively brimming with shopping, breweries and nightlife.
