The resort has just one restaurant: a laid back nautical affair called Shore House. Whether you feast in the maritime-themed dining room or on the breezy outdoor terrace, you’ll be treated to picture-perfect views of the sand and the sea. The restaurant’s robust menu focuses most especially on locally sourced seafood – all of which is exceedingly fresh, of course – and the “Barefoot Brunches” on weekends are always convivial events. The Shore House deck (which is set by the idyllic infinity pool) is a particularly good spot for taking in the sunset with a cocktail in hand.
The resort's tranquil spa is also inspired by the waters of the gulf, and the pretty seaside treatment pavilions are dreamy places to be pampered. If you’d rather be in the water then next to it, the resort offers plenty of ways to enjoy the waves: paddle boarding, fishing and kayaking, to name just a few. The adjacent 18-hole Al Hamra Golf Club lends a picturesque backdrop for a leisurely day of golf, and guests also benefit from a daily shuttle to the resort’s sister property in the Al Wadi Desert. There, all sorts of outdoor adventures – including falconry, archery, stargazing and horseback riding – await.
