Though the hotel is palatial in appearance, there are just 225 rooms within. Accommodations are limited to a mere three categories: Deluxe Rooms, Executive Suites and Royal Suites. All are elevated and distinctly regal, with interiors inspired by traditional Middle-Eastern design. Deluxe Rooms are attractive as can be with their spacious layouts, ornate accents and vibrant colours. Heavy drapes pull back from enormous windows to flood the spaces with natural light, and the generously sized marble bathrooms are lovely. Reyhana is open for all meals of the day and features a stunning dining room resplendent with velvet furniture, intricate fabrics and handsome marble columns. Saltz – which is, in fact, named after the humble ingredient salt – is a sea-inspired restaurant featuring delicacies both classical and contemporary in an upscale dining environment. At the dessert-focused Karamel Lounge, you'll find an enticing array of sweet confections alongside coffee and afternoon tea, while the whimsical Cake Boutique serves pastries, homemade chocolates and, of course, cake. The only notable absence in the hotel’s gastronomy scene is any sort of bar; but – given that you won't find alcohol anywhere in the country – this hardly comes as a surprise.
The law of the land is also evident in the hotel spa, which – magnificent though it is – is reserved only for male guests. Those permitted to enter will be treated to stunningly designed interiors complete with alluring purple lighting and a lounge-like relaxation area. The state-of-the-art fitness centre is similarly limited on the basis of gender, although women are permitted to use the facilities from 5:00 AM until 7:00 AM.
