Otherwise, the 354 rooms (of which 14 are suites) all have standard amenities (no Nespresso machines, sadly) and bathrooms, on the small side, with rainfall showers (some have tubs). Several, at a higher price, have spectacular water views and, if you upgrade to a suite, you’ll have a bigger terrace and superb views (if you book carefully).
The hotel’s restaurant, Ambersweet, is popular with the local crowd, so be sure to book in early if you’re here to stay. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you’ll be well-served here with traditional, Southern comfort food, and as it’s Miami, outdoor dining is the way to go unless it’s too hot or too cold (a rarity). Coffee and breakfast treats are served at the AM Cafe, while The Backyard, poolside, is where you’ll want to be most days (into the night) while you loll beachside.
The hotel has two adjacent swimming pools, a small spa on the rooftop area where there’s also a beauty salon and a fitness centre with cardio and strength equipment. Regular yoga sessions are hosted up here, colourful workout gear recommended.
