For those who need more space, there are luxurious apartments available, housed in a row of Georgian townhouses next to the main hotel building, each with separate living, dining, and sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchenettes. An added plus, the management runs an ongoing program to provide personalised services to families.
After being greeted by the liveried doorman, check-in at the hotel is done in the lobby while guests are seated on sofas and offered refreshments. Such personalised service extends throughout – a lavish spread is served at breakfast at the hotel’s signature restaurant, 116 at The Athenaeum, as are all meals including afternoon tea. Indulge in some people-watching while enjoying seasonal dishes at The Terrace, or request a Royal Park Picnic for a gourmet picnic basket and a blanket to enjoy a tranquil meal in one of the nearby parks.
