Restaurants at Six Senses have self-explanatory names: there’s Vietnamese by the Market which serves – you guessed it – Vietnamese food (think classics like banh mi and pho) by the replica village market. By the Beach Restaurant is located on the shoreline; it’s the go-to place for buffet breakfasts, Vietnamese street food, international dinners and (our personal favourite) make-your-own bloody marys and mimosas. Sip a cocktail in one of the leather swing chairs of the Elephant Bar, or enjoy a post-swim drink at the poolside Splash Bar while you gaze out at the sea and Lo Voi mountain.
True to the Six Senses modus operandi, the resort’s spa is arguably its best asset. Garden-surrounded and utterly serene, the spa offers all the expected massages, scrubs and facials in addition to a nail bar and coconut oil workshop studio. Fitness junkies can take part in all manner of watersports or go trekking through the postcard-worthy landscape, while those who prefer to stay closer to the resort (and its bars) can visit the fitness centre, relax in the meditation pavilion or take an open-air yoga class in an absolutely idyllic setting.
