Rooms are categorised by size: entry-level starting at 25 sq m (270 sq ft). They are contemporary in design, supremely comfortable and colour schemes are in soft neutrals. Expect garden or patio views, Nespresso machines, gourmet minibars and bathrooms with extra-large showers. If you need more space and a balcony, that’s no issue, and if you want to splurge, there are Junior Suites with bathtubs, terraces and views of the basilica. Top of the line is the La Torre Studio (with its private deck and outdoor hot tub) and the resplendent Sant Francesc Suite which has two balconies and beautiful artwork. There’s a 24-hour gym (with TRX) and two rooms set aside for treatments. Sightseeing is within walking distance: don’t miss the Palma Cathedral, Almudaina Palace and the Arab baths (Moorish ruins, of course, and not a modern-day hammam). The hotel can arrange transport to the beach and marina (five minutes away) when you need to feel your toes in the sand.
