Tucked into the posh 16th arrondissement is the Renaissance Paris Nobel Tour Eiffel Hotel: a true hidden gem in an upscale environment. Set in a unique configuration comprising four historic buildings, this idyllic getaway is perfectly located to take advantage of all that Paris has to offer. Iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Champs Élysées are within strolling distance, while a nearby metro station makes exploring even the farthest reaches of the city a breeze.

The 16th arrondissement is chic as can be, and the hotel’s guest rooms offer an ambience to match. They are a refreshing departure from the ornate, often stuffy accommodations found in many of the city's other hotels, while still being sophisticated and regal. While not enormous (this is Paris, after all) the rooms are cleverly designed with an interior design scheme that creates the illusion of more space. Pale walls contrast with beautiful green floors, and hazy, black-and-white murals are mounted behind the headboards; in suites, these extend upwards and curve over the beds to create a surreal ambience. Black and emerald accents add some striking visual contrast, while pieces like wingback armchairs add a touch of nobility.

There is just one restaurant within the hotel, which could be an issue if the property were located in any other city than Paris. You'll want to spend the majority of your dining time exploring the city's rich gastronomy scene, but it's worth eating at the property’s signature venue once or twice. Called Le Relais du Parc Restaurant and Terrace, this stylish venue is open for all meals of the day and features beautifully simple cuisine. The atmosphere is refreshingly laid-back and contemporary, and the brunch hosted on Sundays is popular with guests and locals alike. If you visit during the warmer months, be sure to dine outside on the restaurant's beautiful terrace.

While the hotel does have a fitness centre on-site, it is not particularly impressive. Granted, it does have the basics, but we'd suggest skipping the weight room in favour of getting your exercise outdoors. You could hardly ask for a more scenic place to do so; a walk to the Eiffel Tower will take you just ten minutes, while landmarks like the Louis Vuitton Foundation will take you just fifteen minutes more. If you'd prefer to linger on the property, visit the hotel's beautiful private garden, which is as much of a hidden gem as the hotel itself.
