About the hotel
"Qualia sits within 30 acres of native bush and landscaped gardens, and with 60 breezy accommodations, two restaurants, a spa and an oh so sexy pool, it has won many prestigious awards."

You’ll have a choice of accommodations from spacious pavilions; a private plunge pool and which direction they face being the differential between them. There is a total of 60, including one Beach House with is its own porte-cochère, 12-metre infinity pool and two bedrooms (and a whole lot more). Rooms are contemporary, light and breezy in style, made up using natural woods and earth-like colour schemes. Big bathrooms in stone are handsome and come with Aesop amenities. All rooms have furnished balconies and big, bold Coral Sea views.
Two venues at the resort have you covered for all meals. Start the day with breakfast at the Long Pavilion, and perhaps come back in the evening for a relaxed meal from the land or sea. Pebble Beach is the hotel’s fine-dining venue which serves lunch – heavily leaning on the vegetarian side – at the restaurant or poolside. Pebble Beach is also open for dinner when a prix-fixe menu is offered, paired with sublime wines from the continent or further afield.
The spa on the premises is a virtual haven of relaxation, rejuvenation and indulgence. Book a treatment or reserve a whole day of pampering. Other than the pool, there’s much to do away from the resort as well. Situated about halfway down the Great Barrier Reef, Hamilton Island is about a thirty-minute trip on a high-speed catamaran to Whitehaven Beach, one of the islands’ big draws. Day trips and half-day trips are easily arranged for a snorkelling or diving trip to the reef. Should you prefer to see the reef from dry land, a helicopter tour can be arranged. The town of Hamilton is only five minutes away by buggy if you seek some outside entertainment, but no one will fault you if you chose to stay right where you are, in paradise.
