There’s an open kitchen at the Parkhuus restaurant, a lovely choice for a fine meal. Book into the Wine Room where an Ingo Maurer chandelier sheds light upon the 3,000 wines and champagnes within. Swiss fare at its finest is served, beautifully prepared and elegantly served.
After dinner, retire by the open fire in the Lobby Lounge if you’re here in colder climes. Breakfast is also served here, and snacks throughout the day. Open all day through the early evening, the Café Z serves lighter fare, perfect for family meals or a quick lunch on the run.
As in most establishments in Switzerland, dogs are welcome, even in restaurants, but if you want yours to stay overnight, he or she cannot weigh over 50 lbs, or about 23 kilos, according to the website. Do they weigh them in the lobby, we wonder?
