Villa North Island is the largest of the lot, decadent almost beyond comprehension, and the most heavenly honeymoon spot imaginable. Indeed, this villa is reserved only for couples, while the other ten have two bedrooms each.
No cars are permitted on the island, so you’ll get about by bicycle or electric buggy. An exhaustive list of perks come with a stay at North Island – think complimentary welcome spa treatments, every water sport imaginable, sunset cruises, guided walks… the list goes on and on. Meals and alcohol are included (except for those on the reserve list), meaning there’s one less thing you have to think about over the course of your stay.

For special occasions (though an entire stay here feels like a special occasion), private dining options let you share a romantic meal in the historic library, snuggled beside a campfire on rugged rocks overlooking the water or beneath the constellations on – unforgettably – the island’s helipad.
You can venture off the island if you so choose, but you may well find yourself not wanting to leave – other than to scuba dive, of course.
