Accommodations are split between rooms, suites and villas, for a grand total of just 53 spots to choose from. The property’s limited capacity means that each and every one of the accommodations enjoy awe-inspiring views of the sea and a welcome abundance of privacy. The rooms themselves are generously sized, as are the chic, furnished private terraces to which they are attached. The interior design scheme pays homage to the natural world through the use of local wood and island stone, while touches of terracotta and brass add warmth to the spaces. All products found within are organic and utilise local ingredients – just one way the property exercises its commitment to sustainability and the environment. Suites are an obvious upgrade, whether yours comes with a garden, terrace or loggia, and the villas are the most splendid of all thanks to their enormous rooms and private heated infinity pools.
Despite Maslina’s intimate size, there is plenty to do, see, and eat. For those interested in the latter, venture to the aptly named ‘The Restaurant’, which is helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Serge Gouloumès and is a brilliant Mediterranean affair that celebrates fresh seafood and local flavours. The Bar (also named in such a way as to avoid any confusion from one venue to the next) is also a must-visit; there you'll find the bounty of local boutique wineries alongside craft beers and excellent cocktails. There's also a beach bar set just steps from the beautiful water; an idyllic place to unwind during long and luxurious days spent on the pretty beach.
