The Inn’s aesthetic is every bit as trendy as its surroundings: characterised by artsy modern minimalism, the accommodations perfectly strike that hard-to-nail balance of residential comfort and sleek luxury (you don’t want to forget that you’re on holiday, after all). Set on the picturesque sands of Carbon Beach is Carbon Beach Club Restaurant – also known as CBC Malibu. It's the only restaurant on the property but, thankfully, it is excellent. Inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean and Pacific coasts (and utilising supremely fresh ingredients from the latter), CBC hosts guests for all meals of the day and features a stunning wine list that has earned it six Wine Spectator Awards. Dine indoors or out, and come back in the evenings to curl up by the fire with a cosy blanket and a drink in hand.
CURE Daily Spa features everything from the traditional bodywork and skincare offerings to medical spa treatments that range from micro-needling to Botox. A comprehensive list of IV therapy options is also available, with therapeutic treatments that boast intriguing names like “Liver Detox”, “Get Up & Go” and “Quench”. There is no fitness centre or pool on site, but the presence of the beach makes up for it. Get your exercise on the sand, in the waves or beyond with a little help from the Inn’s concierge team who can coordinate everything from hikes, water sport lessons and guided excursions. You might also opt to get your daily steps in by venturing into town or by going for a stroll on the iconic Malibu Pier.
