All (needless to say) are spectacular, supremely comfortable and lavishly adorned with curated artworks and spectacular antique pieces. All – even the entry-level options – are wonderfully spacious, and some accommodations enjoy covered patios and private gardens.
Dining at La Residence takes place in the Great Hall, where you'll find all meals of the day including Afternoon Tea. In the warmer months, be sure to take advantage of al fresco dining and enjoy a meal in the fresh air as you overlook the pretty pool and the mountains beyond. Breakfast is a lavish spread with all manner of delicacies, while both lunch and dinner are à la carte affairs that are even more marvellous. The menus for these two later meals are thoughtful and exquisite, with mouthwatering options such as Cape Malay Beef Curry, Tempura Kingklip and Charred Cauliflower Risotto. It goes without saying that the wine scene here is incredible; enjoy a bottle with dinner and be sure to also book a wine tasting, complete with a stroll through the property's very own vineyards.
The Spa Room at La Residence is an indulgent option for a massage or other luxurious treatment, and guests can also opt to enjoy spa services in the privacy of their own suite, balcony or in the property’s peaceful Tea House which overlooks the dam.
