Though the resort has 157 guestrooms (20 of which are suites), the vibe is distinctly a boutique one. The lobby feels breezy and eclectic, and the atmosphere throughout is unfailingly friendly. Rooms are bright and beachy, set predominantly in whites and nautical blues. Vibrant surfing photography pays homage to the area’s oceanic culture and views gaze out over the courtyard or the ocean. Naturally, it’s worth upgrading for the latter, especially if your room comes with its own private balcony. There’s no pool at the hotel, but it's an absence barely felt with the beach so close at hand. Surfing, needless to say, is one of the absolute best ways to experience the soul of the region, and both beginners and experts alike are able to take advantage of a year-round swell.
