The dining options at Kempinski are varied; pan-Asian (and delicious cocktails) can be found at Saigon; Aegean cuisine at Barbarossa; and La Luce offers Italian food with a view. Turkish influences pop up here and there (such as Turkish Simit in the breakfast buffet), but those looking for a truly authentic Turkish meal will have to find it elsewhere. Another thing to note is that many restaurants are seasonal; an off-season visit drastically limits dining options.
The mountain and sea views from the enormous infinity pool are hard to beat, but the vistas from the spa’s indoor pool come delightfully close. Also within the spa are Turkish baths, steam rooms and gorgeous treatment rooms with curtains kept open to the breeze.
The hotel does have a fitness centre, but it would be almost a shame to workout indoors when you could instead hike the nearby Carian Trail or keep active with biking and watersports available and arranged through the hotel.
Children are welcome, and the hotel has a nanny service and a kids’ club. Those who’d have nothing to do with little ones, however, will appreciate an adult-only stretch of beach. There, you’ll find absolute relaxation coupled with the most idyllic of views.
