The soaring property enjoys a prime location in the new Hexi Central Business District on the south bank of the Yangtze River, and – needless to say – makes the most of those stellar river views. Within, the Zaha Hadid-designed property boasts 261 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites. Stylish and serene in equal measure, these rooms are simply yet tastefully adorned with neutral colours, plush furnishings and top-of-the-line amenities everywhere you look. Soaring vistas feature prominently at the aptly named Panorama (which serves an international menu in its 39th-floor dining room), and also in the lively seafood restaurant Zhuo Xian, which is perched on the 41st floor. Both contemporary and traditional Cantonese fare is served at the elegant Lu Chao, and sunset tea ceremonies overlooking the Yangtze River are hosted daily at the Cha Jie lounge. Called Chocolatini, the hotel’s in-house chocolatier is the cherry on top of the already impressive gastronomical cake.
The hotel's amenities are equally impressive, with an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and spa facilities all designed to cater to the needs of the modern traveller. Guests can indulge in a range of beauty treatments and massages at the Talise Spa, or take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, which offers stunning views of the city.
We’d be remiss not to mention Jumeirah Nanjing's location, which is another standout feature of the property. Its address in the heart of the city's new central business district makes it an excellent launching pad from which to explore the city thanks to its close proximity to the city's main attractions: the Confucius Temple, Xuanwu Lake and the Nanjing Museum (to name just a few) are all less than 30 minutes away.
