The only problem with the gastronomy scene at the hotel is figuring out where on earth to begin. The assortment of eateries is positively dizzying: one could easily spend a long holiday eating only at the hotel without getting bored. Elevated Japanese street food can be found at Gohan: a conceptual fine-dining eatery with a creative edge. Another inspired option is La Cantine du Faubourg, which describes itself as an ‘artistic rendez-vous’ and is centred around five key principles: sound, music, image, art and food. The flavours of the Mediterranean, Middle East, Asia and India come together to form Mundo, while Ninive (designed to feel like a contemporary urban majlis) features North African and Middle Eastern cuisines. Wellness-minded guests and those with dietary restrictions will feel right at home at Flow, a cafe-style spot with vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options. Do be sure to visit Daefi Lounge for a midday respite: this attractive spot serves light bites and Afternoon Tea with a heavy dose of Bedouin hospitality.
