The hotel's guestrooms are representations of contemporary Swiss minimalism at its finest. Spacious, elegant and flooded with natural light, these spaces are refreshingly simple without feeling even remotely austere. Ivory walls and enormous expanses of pretty blonde wood take up most of the floor-to-ceiling space, save for the enormous full-wall windows that let in plenty of sunlight and – particularly in those accommodations that look out over the park – stellar views. Emerald coloured accents add a brilliant burst of vibrance to the spaces, and the shades used are a near-perfect match to the hues of green found in the nearby park’s lush rolling hills. Suites are positively decadent and if you book the Presidential Suite, you'll be treated to a lovely private terrace with the finest views the hotel has to offer.

Flavours from around the world are showcased in the hotel's food and drinks scene, which consists of four different venues. Restaurant Babel is an unexpected – yet excellent – Middle Eastern-focused dining theatre with a dynamic atmosphere and lovely outdoor terrace. Babel is open for all meals of the day and is an especially good spot for those following a plant-based diet thanks to its comprehensive vegan menu. For a midday snack accompanied by more gorgeous views, the Hyatt Regency Terrace will suit you nicely. Later, pay a visit to Bar Iris, which is a buzzy neighbourhood hangout with a modern Swiss aesthetic. If you're in a rush, Zum Mintnäh is open 24/7 and offers a vibrant array of healthy, gourmet takeaway meals and snacks alongside local specialities and freshly brewed coffee for that oh-so-important caffeine fix.
