About the hotel
"Channeling both contemporary Berlin and the legacy of Prussia, Hotel Luc boasts gorgeous guestrooms, marvellous dining and a near-unbeatable location in the heart of the city."
Stunning guest rooms are sophisticated and timeless, each feeling like a contemporary take on a Prussian fairytale. Wispy curtains draw back to reveal enormous rounded windows which let in plenty of natural light to illuminate the pretty spaces. Steel blue walls coupled with gentle pastels create an almost ethereal vibe, and gorgeous artwork appears to float off the wall thanks to clever posterior lighting. Views – especially those that gaze out at the exquisite architecture of the French Dome – are magnificent; it's well worth splurging... Show more
Stunning guest rooms are sophisticated and timeless, each feeling like a contemporary take on a Prussian fairytale. Views – especially those that gaze out at the exquisite architecture of the French Dome – are magnificent; it's well worth splurging for one of the lucky rooms that comes with a private balcony so that you can make the most of these unforgettable vistas and enjoy a private breakfast in the fresh air.
There are two options for food and drink within the hotel itself: HERITAGE Berlin and Café Luc. HERITAGE Berlin, as its name would suggest, channels Prussian heritage into its contemporary cuisine. Dine indoors in the pretty dining room, or outside on the terrace at this elegant restaurant which is open for dinner only. If you don't have a private balcony on which to enjoy your first meal of the day, fear not: Café Luc offers a superb alternative with lavish breakfast offerings inspired by French bistros.
The hotel's fitness centre is bright, airy and a little bit eccentric. Open 24 hours a day, it's well equipped with all the latest gear, a sauna, a steam bath and (a touch bizarrely) a distressed antique leather couch settled right next to the treadmills. Get your exercise there, or head out to explore; the immediate area is resplendent with things to do, whether that means exploring the monolithic buildings of Gendarmenmarkt, walking the iconic Boulevard Unter den Linden or taking a leisurely scroll through Brandenburg gate and venturing to the Spree River banks beyond.
