These dazzling spaces are fit for royalty with their lavish interior design, regal aesthetic concepts and spellbinding views of Lake Como.
The Michelin-starred Mistral Restaurant should be first on your list for dining at the hotel. Come for lunch or dinner (or better yet, for both) and let yourself be treated to sophisticated Mediterranean fare (which is a delightful mingling of traditional and contemporary) and exquisite views of the lake. La Goletta is a more laid-back affair – though the Italian cuisine served there is superb – and is open all day for traditional Italian dishes: homemade pasta, pizza and more. Three bars round out the food and drinks scene at the hotel: there’s the Pool and Beach Bar (which, as its name suggests, is conveniently close to both the private beach and the pool), the 19th-century American Verri’s Bar and our personal favourite: Terrazza Darsena. Set serenely above the lake, the peaceful Terrazza Darsena is an exceptionally beautiful spot to retreat for a cocktail as you watch the sun go down over the lake.
