Costa Adeje has a lot going for it. La Brasserie by Pierre Résimont is an obvious choice for a marvellous dinner from a Michelin-starred chef, paired with a lovely French wine. If you prefer Spanish vino, you’ll find it at the Alisios Market Food. Enjoy Italian at La Trattoria, Basque at Sua and vibrant Mexican dishes at La Hacienda. A dozen bars and lounges make it easy to continue the revelry post-meal – El Chiringuito has the very best views of the water (and fantastic tropical cocktails).

You’d have to try rather hard to be bored during a stay here, and the adventurous at heart will be especially delighted with the hotel’s offerings. Hike through ancient ravines, try your hand at kitesurfing, scuba dive alongside turtles or experience Tenerife from above with a paragliding excursion.
