On that note, all have their own private gardens and patios, while the Deluxe Family Play Garden Bungalow enjoys an attractive, fenced-in garden resplendent with toys and activities for younger guests. Back inside, the bungalows’ colour palette is simple and soothing; eggshell white walls and accents of taupe and sand are brightened throughout by bursts of royal blue.
Though the hotel feels like an oasis unto itself, guests staying at Bouganville are able to enjoy access to all the amenities of Forte Village at large. The sheer variety is mind-boggling, not least of which thanks to the resort’s dizzying array of dining options. It would require a real effort (or perhaps just a lengthy stay) to try them all, but a few stand-outs are especially worth visiting. Multiple Michelin-starred chefs have created restaurants for the resort, including Heinz Beck (who has an eponymous restaurant) and Massimilano Mascia, the mastermind behind the Romagna cuisine at La Terrazza San Domenico. Every guest – even the pickiest of eaters – is bound to find multiple spots that delight them, whether that means a fresh slice at Pizzeria, succulent charcoal-grilled meat at Ristorante Brasilia or a marvellously fresh seafood meal at the aptly named Fish Market.
Guests are spoilt for choice (and then some) as far as entertainment at the resort goes. Expect glitzy nightlife including a convivial discotheque, high fashion boutiques (to make sure you’re dressed to kill) and a glittering social crowd. Children and adults alike can participate in any number of the resort's academies, whether for magic, fencing or netball – to name just a few. Pools, arts-and-crafts, theatres and more make the resort a veritable playground for little ones, while adults will be equally enchanted with everything from golf and fitness classes to water sports and an indulgent spa.
