Ett Hem Stockholm
About the hotel
"A bespoke hotel with an unsurpassed sense of warmth, the boutique Ett Hem promises beautiful guestrooms, wonderful dining and a sense of being truly at home."
Much of the hotel’s magic comes from its shared spaces: the kitchen, the library, the living room – all of which guests can move through freely, as though the house were their own. While the atmosphere is a homely one, the interior design is anything but: intimate and inviting, the hotel’s interiors are nevertheless exquisite, a place where deep comfort comes draped in marble, velvet, leather and a spellbinding collection of original artwork.

Boutique to the core, Ett Hem has just 12 rooms. Dispersed over three floors, the accommodations are lovely, light-filled and impeccably designed: crisp colour palettes and contemporary lines mingle with classic accents and tasteful antiques to create bespoke spaces that feel utterly timeless. Gorgeous marble bathrooms add to the luxe appeal of it all, while features like cast-iron stoves, fireplaces and four-poster beds that are found in suites cement each accommodation’s status as the pied-à-terre we all wish we had.
Intimate hospitality is abundant throughout the hotel, perhaps in the kitchen most of all. With a communal table, rustic-chic atmosphere and a delicious, ever-changing menu that features local food and wine, the space has a convivial, inherently inviting appeal to it – like the kitchen of a friend who also happens to be the world’s best hostess. Guests are welcome to help themselves from the treats stashed around the kitchen if they get peckish between mealtimes, and when it comes time to sit down and eat, guests can do so in the library, in the greenhouse (yes, they have one of those as well) or in the kitchen itself.
Despite its small size, Ett Hem overlooks nothing in ensuring its guests have everything they could possibly need for a comfortable stay. This is evidenced in the presence of a gorgeously minimalist state-of-the-art gym; after working out there, guests can visit an equally stylish relaxation area for an indulgent massage.
