The charming town of Dunblane is just 12 minutes away, Stirling Castle is an 18-minute drive and you can choose from five different golf courses within a 20-minute radius.
With just 15 guest rooms and suites, this elegant country estate is able to offer personalised service and a feeling of seclusion. One of the main draws here is the Chez Roux restaurant, which is set in a glass-walled conservatory with picturesque views of the manicured grounds. Guests can watch the action in the open kitchen while dining on seasonal French and Scottish cuisine from menus that regularly alternate to give multi-night guests new options. The breakfast menu is worth waking up for, featuring fresh-squeezed fruit juices, traditional Scottish rolled porridge oats, haggis, omelettes made with free-range eggs, scrambled eggs with caviar and French toast with chantilly cream. All this is served with a lavish selection of coffee beverages and loose leaf teas. The Lounge offers casual meals for lunch and dinner, including sandwiches, fish and chips and a soup of the day served with crusty bread. Guests can also enjoy a traditional afternoon tea with plain and fruit scones, delicate desserts, Ronnefeldt Teas and the option to add a glass of Albert Roux’s Blanc de Blancs Champagne.
Spend an afternoon playing board games and billiards, or challenge your travel companions to a match on the tennis courts or the croquet lawn. Beautifully refurbished in summer 2023, inside, you’ll find the quintessential country cottage - plenty of flexible accommodation, with a kitchen, living room, king-size bedroom and a family bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath. There’s even a pull-out sofa bed, making it ideal for bringing the kids.
This accommodation lies 1.3 kilometres from the main house at the entrance to the Cromlix Estate, but if you don’t feel like walking, we have a car on standby to whisk you to the main house so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
