Cobblers Cove
About the hotel
"A boutique bolt-hole consistently considered to be one of the nation’s best hotels, the all-suite Cobblers Cove boasts gorgeous accommodations, fabulous amenities and one of the best restaurants in Barbados."
This stunning all-suite property has just forty accommodations, a number which heightens the feeling of staying in an exclusive waterfront escape. All accommodations are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated in that classic colonial style with a touch of beachy whimsy that gives the hotel a personality all its own. Wicker furniture (we particularly love the shell-shaped chairs and lighting fixtures), floral prints and a colour palette of soft pinks, blues and whites create inspired yet calming spaces that you won’t want to leave. Bathrooms are beautiful, private outdoor spaces are charming and thoughtful touches are found throughout: we especially love the hand-picked selection of books found in each room.
Dining is enchanting at Cobblers Cove (although really, what isn’t enchanting here?) and the hotel’s Camelot Restaurant has a long-established reputation for boasting some of the island's very best dining. Helmed by Bajan chef Jason Joseph, this is the place to go for exquisitely grilled catch-of-the-day dishes alongside other elaborate (and equally fantastic) creations. The restaurant’s magnificent menu features the bounty of the surrounding land and sea with mouthwatering offerings such as Puff Pastry Lobster Rolls and Octopus Risotto.
Activities are abundant at Cobblers Cove, and the hotel is ready and able to arrange all sorts of once-in-a-lifetime adventures: think swimming sessions with turtles, picnics on deserted islands or private boat rides up the picturesque coastline. A plethora of water sports are also available for guests, as well as myriad ways to get active on land: think outdoor yoga, private tennis coaching and a well-equipped fitness centre for those seeking to work out on their own. However you choose to spend your days, end them with a visit to the hotel's salon. Called Sea Moon Hair & Treatment Salon, it’s a soothing place where you’ll find everything from restorative massages and mani-pedis to revitalising scrubs.
