The first Bulgari Hotel in Japan and the eighth addition to the brand’s namesake Hotels & Resorts collection, Bulgari Hotel Tokyo brings legendary Italian glamour to the capital city. Located on the 40th to 45th floors of the ultra-modern Tokyo Midtown Yaesu skyscraper – one of the city’s tallest structures – this posh hotel offers an elevated stay in more ways than one.

Upon arrival, a dedicated elevator whisks guests skyward to the hotel’s 40th-floor lobby. Beyond the sophisticated entryway are the hotel’s 98 rooms and suites, all of which are distinctively and impeccably designed. The interiors blend iconic Bulgari heritage with traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating spaces that feel bright, inspired and plush as can be. As stunning as the interior design is, the views are the real stars of the show: there isn’t a bad vista to be found throughout, thanks to the hotel’s lofty perch. If you can tear your eyes away from the wall of windows, you’ll find opulent yet understated spaces in shades of saffron, taupe and gold. Featuring just eight seats, this spot is not to be missed for traditional omakase. For an unexpected (yet welcome) change of environment, head to the 45th-floor Bulgari Bar. Set between two rooftop terraces, this vibrant hideaway features a Mediterranean design scheme inspired by historical Italian gardens. For tea or a light bite, the elegantly inviting Bulgari Lounge is a perfect spot, and do be sure to stop by the Bulgari Dolci boutique for the most spectacular confectionery treats.
