Golf enthusiasts can enjoy professional guidance at the property’s golf academy, and more professional instruction can be found at the tennis club. Water sports enthusiasts will be equally well catered to with sailing, scuba diving, kayaking and more. After a day of adventure, the wellness centre awaits. Ancient medicine melds with cutting-edge science in the extensive treatment menus, which encompass Aryuvedic treatments, Bhutanese treatments and acupuncture alongside skin clinics, beauty salons and mindfulness courses. Those in need of a serious reset should consider partaking in one of the Wellness Rehabilitation programmes.
Six restaurants and two bars offer plenty of variety as far as drinking and dining are concerned. TAO Restaurant is the resort’s signature option and offers a tantalising fusion of both Eastern and Western flavours. Global cuisine can be found at Cariblue, which is open for all meals of the day, and everything from your first cup of coffee to an afternoon smoothie and salad can be found at the aptly named Wellness Café. In the evenings, The Clubhouse Bar is the life of the party; grab a drink there, or – if you’d prefer a more traditional environment – visit The Piano Bar for a pre-or-post prandial beverage and live music.
