This farmhouse-inspired eatery serves French-Canadian fare and features marvellous views of the St. Lawrence River. If you’re visiting in the summer months, be sure not to miss Au Jardin Chez Muffy, the hotel’s celebrated pop-up restaurant. Another seasonal option is Panache Mobile: a fabulous gourmet food truck that’s perfect for enjoying an al fresco lobster roll and glass of wine by the river. The much-loved Bar Artefact is another must-visit spot thanks to its live music, artefact-adorned interiors and creative cocktail list.
When you’re ready to explore the city at large, you could hardly ask for a better-placed launching pad from which to do so. The hotel’s location overlooking the river places it close to all manner of attractions, including the Musée de la Civilisation (which is right next door) and the newly reimagined Place des Canotiers – to speak nothing of the plethora of shops, galleries and restaurants lining the surrounding streets. Should you find yourself feeling inclined to venture even further, Montreal is three hours away and Trois-Rivières is just half of that.
