Stedelijk Museum
Kickstart your Amsterdam cultural tour with the contemporary art showcased at the 117-year-old Stedelijk Museum’s new modern extension – which is playfully designed to replicate a bathtub. The world-famous museum is located on the outer edges of Amsterdam’s centre, close to several other museums and art institutes, and most recently hosted a retrospective of Marina Abramovic’s work. The exhibition ‘The Power and Politics of Textiles in Art’ launched on the 14th of September, examines the profound influence of art on political history.
