While previous editions have been held in Gstaad Palace, Winter Weekend XII ushers in an exciting new era for ASMALLWORLD under the fairytale spires of Suvretta House.

Beyond its enchanting Belle Époque architecture and ‘bellavista’ views, Suvretta House is steeped in history. Founded by visionary hotelier Anton Sebastian Bon in 1912, it was crafted to serve an elite clientele who desired not only luxury and impeccable service but also privacy and discretion.

The hotel itself is a sanctuary of luxury, featuring 171 luxury rooms with stunning mountain views. From 6th-8th December, Suvretta House will once again host an event worthy of its prestigious history: the 12th ASMALLWORLD Winter Weekend! 

As is customary, the festivities kick off on Friday with the Winter Weekend’s prelude, a sophisticated welcome apéro. Guests will reminisce on past events, reconnecting with old friends while becoming acquainted with new ones. Champagne flutes will be raised, offering a sparkling toast in anticipation of the exciting weekend ahead. 

This elegant opening sets the stage for a long-standing tradition: the themed Friday night gourmet dinner. This year’s theme brings back the glittering excitement of Studio 54, New York’s legendary and infamous late 70’s nightclub transforming the night into a dazzling disco-inspired celebration. Expect captivating performances by live dancers and singers as guests step into an unforgettable evening of themed glamour and indulgence – a true feast for the senses!

Channelling the spirit of Studio 54, of course the celebrations don’t end there as the afterparty takes the celebration late into the night, concluding the first of two unforgettable days. 

Saturday afternoon brings a change of pace, as guests take ski lifts, conveniently situated behind Suvretta House, and ascend into the breathtaking heights of the Swiss Alps.

They are welcomed at Tutz, a ski hut reserved exclusively for the attendees, offering a breathtaking vista of the Swiss Alps. Guests savour traditional fondue, sip chilled wine and revel as a live band adds to the ambience amidst the picturesque snowcapped alpine scenery—an experience that truly embodies the spirit of the Winter Weekend.

As the sun sets on Saturday, the evening marks the beginning of the most anticipated night of the Winter Weekend: the black-tie ASMALLWORLD Foundation Gala Dinner, situated in the palatial ballroom of Suvretta House. Every year, this black-tie gala raises funds for important charitable projects, adding a deeper meaning to the weekend’s festivities. Guests will don their finest attire and look their best for an evening of sophistication, style and philanthropy.

As the gala draws to a close, the night is far from over, continuing with an extravagant afterparty, where the energy and excitement of the weekend will reach its crescendo. Dancing, live music, and an electric atmosphere ensure guests forge unforgettable memories in a late-night celebration that serves as the perfect finale to another momentous Winter Weekend.
