ASMALLWORLD invites you to the most exclusive international event of the Venice Carnival! Over the years, Il Ballo del Doge has been defined in a number of ways: a costume ball, a dinner show, a dance party and more. Everyone has lived it and loved it differently.
Everyone sees it through their own personal perspective. Certainly, Il Ballo del Doge is the definitive “Masked Ball”: the first in modern times to re-invent the spirit of the festivities, dances and banquets as they were staged in times gone by for the aristocracy of the Venetian Republic.

On Saturday, 1 March 2025, in the majestic setting of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, the gears of time will go mad with joie de vivre! A carousel of music, lights, characters and emotions awaits you that will trigger your fantasy, imagination and that art of amazement that everyday life sometimes robs us of.
ASW Members will have an exclusive opportunity to have a picture taken with Mrs Sautter during the evening of the Il Ballo del Doge, as well as an exquisite small mask, and a free Photo Appointment Service during of Il Ballo del Doge (the usual price would be €250).
