International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women - New York
ASMALLWORLD invites members and their guests to join Alessandra Mattanza and The Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN for a unique experience inside the UN.
Enjoy a 20-minute Meet & Greet and panel discussion with Maurizio Massari, Italian Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN, alongside distinguished artists: LADY AIKO, known for her collaborations with Banksy and Louis Vuitton; Alice Mizrachi, celebrated for her community work supporting women in New York; Erin Yoshi, affiliated with National Geographic; and Claudia Hart, whose digital art is inspired by filmmaker Christopher Nolan.
Before and after this inspiring dialogue, enjoy a captivating dance and music performance, featuring innovative AI-composed music by Grammy-winning pianist and tech entrepreneur Ivan Linn and his team, who have collaborated with NASA and UNESCO.
Later, head to Sputnik Place to continue the evening with drinks, food, and conversation alongside fellow members, artists, and guests.
For the members who have not seen yet the art exhibition “Street Art is Female”, Alessandra Mattanza will be happy to organise a private tour during the evening.
Programme Overview:
- 5:30–5:50 PM: Check-in and proceed to the Sputnik area, where seating will be arranged.
- 6:00 PM: Contemporary dance performances, followed by a Meet & Greet and panel discussion with the Italian Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN and the featured artists.
- Afterward: Cocktail reception at Sputnik Place.
