Oktoberfest Opening Night - Munich
ASMALLWORLD is delighted to invite you to join ASW Ambassador Ulrich Clef at the exclusive Opening Night of Oktoberfest!
On the premier evening of Oktoberfest, members and guests will meet in a special tent, the "Café Theres", formerly known as “Café Mohrenkopf”, which has hosted Munich's Oktoberfest since 1950. Today the small traditional location is still run as a family business by the third generation of Katharina Wiemes, the granddaughter of the company's founder, who will personally welcome us. Café Theres, as well as other smaller tents, does not allow beer to be served.
While the coffee table is richly laid during the day at Café Theres, cheerful cocktail sipping with live dance music is the order of the evening. A well-known Munich party band provides hot rhythms live every evening. You can enjoy selected European wines, champagne, fresh cocktails and long drinks, as well as a large selection of coffee drinks and non-alcoholic beverages. Café Theres also offers different snack platters for every taste, as well as “Flammkuchen” (tarte flambée) in different variations and the popular homemade goulash soup.
We recommend walking around Oktoberfest in the late afternoon before our event starts at 6:00 pm. Please see below for additional important information.
