About the venue
“Well roared, lion!” is what many Oktoberfest visitors think when they hear the legendary call of “Löööwenbräu.” With this call, the lion above the main entrance captivates both locals and “zuagroasten” Oktoberfest visitors. The festival tent is impossible to miss. The 37-metre-high Löwenbräu tower shows the way to the tasty Oktoberfest beer from Löwenbräu. The tent, with its 5,800 seats inside and 2,700 seats in the beer garden, shines in festive splendour in the evening thanks to its 16,000 light bulbs (now LED lamps). The arches of the tent are decorated with yellow fabric panels, and the boxes are traditionally decorated in white and blue. Here, our guests can enjoy the Oktoberfest delicacies and the atmosphere and music of our band “Die Heldensteiner” under the direction of Günter Pilzweger.
