Defending champions Carlos Alcaraz and Marketa Vondrousova will both be playing and will discover their first-round opponents when the draw takes place on 28th June. Another highlight includes seeing Jamie Murray alongside his younger brother Andy – the siblings have discussed teaming up this year for the first time at their home grand slam. And with Andy considering retirement this summer, his matches will be a priority to secure seats for this year.
There is hopefully just enough time for some great recoveries as well before the action commences – we are hoping that 24-time grand slam winner Novak Djokovic will recover from his knee injury from the French Open; Emma Raducanu also suffered a knee injury and skipped the French Open to ensure she is at peak performance for Wimbledon. And don’t forget to look out for this year’s young up-and-coming players, including Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Coco Gauff.
After all the excitement at Wimbledon Park, you will of course need a fabulous hotel to stay at and recharge your batteries. We have done the work for you and offer some of our suggestions for your upcoming stay in London.
