Waldorf Astoria New York, New York City

Set to reopen this season, the rejuvenated Waldorf Astoria New York (now owned by the Chinese government) will feature updated amenities, spacious rooms with picture-perfect views of Midtown Manhattan, and Art Deco-inspired designs.

The refurbishment process, led by renowned architects from Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and interior design by Pierre-Yves Rochon, has preserved the landmark building's historic charm while incorporating state-of-the-art modern luxuries. Hotel guests can enjoy 375 rooms including 78 suites, 43,000 square feet of event space, a state-of-the-art spa and fitness centre, and exclusive restaurants, while the top floors will be reserved for luxurious private residences.

Following the grand reopening this spring, the hotel will be officially open for bookings from September.

This legendary Latin-American brand is set to open the doors of its first Big Apple property this spring. Overlooking the High Line and Hudson River in One High Line’s East Tower, Faena New York is situated in one of the most reputable areas of the city. The property, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, will have 120 guest rooms and suites, a lavish healing house, innovative culinary concepts – featuring a live-fire cooking spot led by celebrity Chef Francis Mallmann – and vibrant nightlife opportunities.

Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, Thailand

Over in Asia, the eagerly awaited Aman Nai Lert Bangkok opened its doors earlier this month in the Thai capital. Situated on a private stretch of the leafy Nai Lert Park, this Jean-Michel Gathy-designed urban sanctuary offers 52 suites, 33 private residences, luxurious spa facilities and five-star dining options.

Aman Nai Lert Bangkok officially opened on 2 April and hotel reservations are now available. The property is committed to supporting those impacted following the earthquake in Myanmar on Friday 28 March. As a result, it will donate a portion of proceeds from every stay in April to charities assisting those in need.
