Tucked away at the top of the hotel is the recently reopened, award-winning GB Roof Garden Restaurant, a beloved dining destination for locals and tourists alike. The restaurant directly overlooks the Acropolis, which is an illuminated vision come nightfall. The renovation was led by award-winning London interior design firm Goddard Littlefair, whose design influences were based upon the city’s regal past: warm hues of gold, green and pink, Evzones-inspired iconography, soft lighting and plush, illustrious furnishings.
The historical references run throughout the restaurant, from the decor to the gastronomy. Executive Chef Asterios Koustoudis has led the Hotel Grande Bretagne's food scene in recent years, alongside Chef De Cuisine Nikos Liokas and Pastry Chef Alexandros Koufas. The curated menu of “fine comfort” Mediterranean dishes embodies the Athenian heritage and culinary scene.
