The Fernán Gómez Cultural Centre will be the main location for the festivities, alongside the Cerralbo Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum and the Fundación Casa de México en España. Responding to the theme of ‘Redesigning the World’, this year’s festival will platform work that addresses and fosters dialogue on modern challenges, offering fresh perspectives on our world.
From 6 February to 15 March 2025, all eyes will be on Madrid as the city hosts the eighth edition of the Madrid Design Festival. In multiple venues spanning across the Spanish capital, the 5-week festival promises a programme packed with inspiring and insightful events.
The programme will feature approximately 20 exhibitions, 200 exclusive activities and more such as open studios, installations, tours, presentations, and workshops. Key features include a presentation on 'The paths towards sustainability through design' by Ramón Úbeda and the ‘NOT EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS LIKE TRASH IS’ workshop at The Knot showroom.
While in Madrid, book a stay at Círculo Gran Vía, Autograph Collection, a distinctive hotel housed in an Art Deco-era building, overlooking the city’s main thoroughfare. With just a 10-minute taxi ride from the Fernán Gómez Cultural Centre you can be back at the hotel, reflecting on the day’s activities in the lobby bar or one of the four dining areas. Or perhaps modern-day sophistication is more your style, which is very much the theme at Four Seasons Madrid. Enjoy city views from the elegant rooftop area or indulge in a spa treatment and a relaxing dip in the onsite swimming pool.
Of course, you can explore all of our hotels on ASMALLWORLD Collection, where you can get room upgrades, hotel credit and more at no additional cost. Click here to browse and book tickets for the Madrid Design Festival.
